It feels like I might be starting to break into this ride now. After a good meal for breakfast, lunch, and dinner I finally have energy left at the end of the day. It also really helps that I had the fortune of getting in touch with some old acquaintances from Nelson who are very generously letting me stay at their house tonight, fed me, and have been exceptionally giving. Thanks Mike and Madi.
The ride today wasn't as grueling as the previous days. Most of the road was in good shape with a nice shoulder but there were a few sections with tons of gravel, rumble strips, and tons of traffic. My new enemy, apart from jackass drivers, is rumble strips. It is such a pain in the butt when you run into them.
I'm looking forward to getting into a new province tomorrow and out of the mountains. I just really hope that the wind plays nicely.
